Glen Ridge is developing an innovative SNF- level respiratory program for the care of patients with a variety of pulmonary diseases. The program is currently seeking staff for this ground-breaking program. Respiratory staff will require excellent assessment and communication skills. Strong ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary clinical team with direct oversight from board certified pulmonology physician is expected. Responsibilities will include patient and staff education and all respiratory care modalities including:
•Tracheostomy Care, including Downsizing and Decannulation.
•CPAP/BIPAP
•Arterial Blood Gas Interpretation
Seeking Respiratory Program Manager:
•Full time
•Minimum of 5 years' experience as Registered Respiratory Therapist is required
•American Heart Association BLS health care provider. ACLS required.
•This position will require hands –on treatment of patients on a regular basis.
•Previous managerial or department oversight experience with demonstrated increase in responsibilities is required
•Demonstrated ability to provide staff education
•Demonstrated ability to perform and maintain competencies on all staff
•Assists in developing respiratory specific programs and standards of care.
•Integrates problem solving methodology and quality improvement into program.
•Assist'swith new respiratory services to meet changing patient populations' needs.
