The mission of Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center is to provide the finest quality health care, rehabilitative and support services to our residents and their families.
Our care approach is patient-centered and involves an integrated program of therapies that address the total well- being of our patients. For each resident, we create an individual care plan and assemble a care team that may include specialists from several areas. The goal is to design a course of treatment and therapy that best meets the needs of the resident.
A Top-rated Health Care Center
Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center is one of the
highest-rated health care centers in the state
of Massachusetts. Our center was recently
awarded a "deficiency-free" rating from the
state department of health. This is your
assurance that the care given to residents at
Glen Ridge meets the very highest standards.
Hospice Care
Glen Ridge provides palliative and end-of-
life hospice care through contracts with two
local hospice providers. The goal of the
hospice team is to this time as comfortable
and peaceful as possible for your family. The
hospice team typically includes nurses, social
worker, home health aides, clergy, and
volunteers.
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care
The award-winning Linden Unit at Glen Ridge
was carefully designed to meet the care,
comfort and safety needs of Alzheimer’s
patients. In the Linden Unit, Alzheimer’s
patients receive the compassion, assistance
and supervision they require. Appropriate
activities, including opportunities for
socialization, are offered. The Linden unit
has its own dining room where residents can
eat independently or with assistance as
needed.
Skilled Care
Glen Ridge offers a full array of skilled care
services, including IV therapy/antibiotics/
hydration, wound care, enteral nutrition
(PEG/NG), infection control program, cardiac
monitoring, podiatry, oxygen and more.
Transportation for dialysis treatments is also
available at the resident’s own expense.
Special Outings
We believe it is important for our residents to
enjoy outings into the community for
recreation, dining and shopping. Our
schedule includes special trips to local
attractions including fairs, parks, parades
and more. Our fully-equipped, wheelchair-
accessible van makes these outings possible
for many residents.
